Culland Mount Farm is situated in a peaceful rural hamlet, just 6 miles from Ashbourne (the nearest town) and a mere 15 miles from the M1, offering that unusual blend of tranquillity and accessibility. The expansive Victorian farmhouse has been carefully divided to provide spacious, comfortable, self contained accommodation, with double glazing and central heating and for that extra cosy feeling during the less warm months a solid fuel fire for which fuel is provided. The lawned garden is the perfect place to relax in whilst both recounting today and contemplating tomorrow. Culland Mount farm is well suited to both holiday and business use and the quality and value of our holiday home may be judged by the fact that well over half of our business is from repeat bookings or word of mouth recommendations. Culland Mount is a convenient place from which to explore the renowned and extensive Peak District National Park, around us there are numerous footpaths as well as the opportunity to walk amongst our fields and meet our animals, a selection of National Trust properties are in the area along with Alton Towers for the more adventurous. Our bookshelf offers a variety of titles for those cosy nights in along with a wide selection of maps, guides and leaflets offering ideas for days out. Brailsford, the nearest village at just over 1 mile away offers a small range of shops and facilities including a butchers shop with local and organic produce, a Post Office for papers and supplies, a 13 hole golf course with driving range and a selection of local crafts including woodworking, ironwork and floristry. From Brailsford buses run on the hour from Derby to Ashbourne.

Culland Mount Farm has been graded by the English Tourism Council as 4 star. It offers one double bedroom and one twin room - a bed-settee or fold up bed is also available upon request. Children are welcome and a cot is available should you require one. Bed linen and towels are provided. There are clothes washing and drying facilities. |
